Nina Púlemiya Zetchus

Vancouver Foundation Indigenous Community Panel

Nina Zetchus is the owner and founder of Luna Float – her town’s first and only Float Therapy Wellness Centre. She is also an account manager at the Vancity Chilliwack Community Branch. She sits on the Stó:lō Community Futures Lending Committee, the Sts’ailes Dev Corp Board of Directors Moytelexw, and is the past president of the Stó:lō Business Association. She recently accepted a role as an Indigenous Community Panel Member for the Vancouver Foundation. Her traditional name is Púlemíya given to her by her family in Sts’ailes. She has worked for Vancity for over 10 years (Starting out as a bank teller in Fall of 2006 and worked her way up to an account manager role (doing mortgages, loans etc) and really enjoyed working with small businesses and entrepreneurs. She even facilitated financial literacy workshops (Vancity’s Each One Teach One and Each One Grow One). Inspired by the entrepreneurs she helped, Nina actually left Vancity In August 2017 to open her own business, Luna Float.

She also got married and recently had a baby (15 months ago now). Luna Float is doing well and the day to day operations are run by her 4 awesome staff so she has recently returned to Vancity part time (3 days a week) in her previous role with a focus on working with Indigenous Entrepreneurs and Communities.
