Paola Cépeda, Ph.D., is a postdoctoral scholar for graduate & postdoctoral professional development in the Graduate School at Stony Brook University. She manages programs that provide graduate students and postdocs with professional skills development opportunities and career exploration tools. She oversees the curriculum development and leader training of the PhD Career Ladder Program, a peer-led mentoring framework to explore careers inside and outside academia. Cépeda is an active member of the Linguistic Society of America's Committee on the Status of Women in Linguistics and an adjunct faculty member of the Department of Linguistics. She holds a doctorate in linguistics from Stony Brook University.
