David J. Scranton founded Sound Income Group, LLC and affiliates (Retirement Income Source®, Sound Income Strategies, Sound Income Academy, Retirement Income Source® SFG).
With 35 years of experience, David Scranton has specialized in income-generating investments for the past 25 years. Before that, he followed a typical business model focused on growth-first strategies.
That changed in 1999 when Dave’s knowledge of market history allowed him to foresee the bursting of the dot-com bubble and the prolonged market downturn that followed. He knew, further, that more market turmoil lay ahead, and made the decision then to create a new business model focused on innovative income-based financial strategies designed for investors in and nearing retirement.
After years of refining his approach with increasing success, Dave founded Sound Income Academy, through which he has helped hundreds of advisors across the country find their path and reach their full potential.
