Rebecca Atkinson is Director of Risk and Compliance at Howard Kennedy LLP and heads up the firm's risk function. Rebecca was called to the English Bar in 2006 and is also a Solicitor and New York Attorney. Rebecca is a regular writer having published two books- Assessing and Addressing Risk & Compliance in Your Law Firm (August 2020) and Financial Crime A Compliance Manual (September 2021) as well as authoring practice notes for PLC and will shortly be updating the AML chapter of Cordery on Legal Services. Rebecca also sits on Boards and Committees and has recently been appointed to the Law Society Regulatory Processes Committee for a 3 year term.
