Mr. Alexander Novas joined OSHA’s Baton Rouge Area Office as a Compliance Officer in 1991.
After having also served as an Assistant Area Director, he became a Compliance Assistance Specialist in 2007. His duties include administration of the Strategic Partnership and Alliance cooperative programs, while also overseeing and conducting site evaluations for the Voluntary Protection Program.
In addition, he travels throughout the state of Louisiana, providing outreach information and encouraging voluntary compliance with OSHA’s safety and health standards.
Alex is a United States Air Force veteran and a graduate of Louisiana State University.
