I love pastors and the local church, and I love to encourage them. I serve as the lead pastor of City United Church. I am a church revitalization subject matter expert (SME) for Liberty University School of Divinity, an active member of Church Answers, and a contributing writer for the Revitalize Network. I am a graduate of Church Consultation University (CCU) as a certified church coach. I am also the church revitalization director for New England with the Baptist Convention of New England., He co-host a national podcast called, revitalizationtoday.com, with Dr. Tom Cheyney.
I have an amazing wife named Jana, two exceptional daughters, one lion-head rabbit, and many outside animals that God takes care of in the woods behind my house. I love New England Coffee, and jazz. I play drums, vibes and used to be a professional percussionist with the Marine Corps Band in the Washington D.C. area.
I have a B.M. in music education from the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, New York, a M.A.R. in worship music studies, a Master of Divinity and a Doctorate in church growth and evangelism from Liberty University.
