Bio
LT Park is a native of South Korea. He enlisted in the Navy as a Boatswain’s Mate in October 2013 and was commissioned via Officer Candidate School in January 2020. He earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology in August 2018.

LT Park reported to his first duty assignment at USS John Paul Jones (DDG-53) in January 2014. After this tour, he joined the Navy Reserve in October 2017 and served as a small boat engineer with Coastal Riverine Squadron Eleven prior his departure to OCS.

Upon completion of CECOS in November 2020, LT Park reported to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion ELEVEN where he served as Material Liaison Officer, Bravo Company Platoon Commander, Chemical Biological Radiological Officer, and Honors Detail Officer-In-Charge. In June 2022, LT Park reported to Officer In Charge of Construction China Lake and served as Construction Manager for seven MILCON projects valued at $757M. In November 2023, he volunteered for a three-month assignment with NAVFAC Marianas where he served as Portfolio Lead for $900M Typoon Mawar Recovery Program and Contracting Officer’s Representative for $125M Mawar Global Contingency Service Contract.

In July 2024, LT Park assumed duties as Facilities Management Division Director at Public Works Department China Lake.

LT Park is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Washington and Seabee Combat Warfare Officer qualified. He has also achieved certifications for Contracting Professional and Public Works Level II. His awards include Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal (2), Humanitarian Service Medal, and other service awards. He is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and the Assistant Vice Chair for Young Professional Program in the Society of American Military Engineers.
