Bio
Heidi R. Brown is a partner at Bogoroch & Associates LLP and is certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Civil Litigation. She graduated from Western University Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1993. Heidi practised for seven years as counsel to the Children’s Lawyer, Ministry of the Attorney General for the Province of Ontario where she represented the legal interests of children in various litigation matters.
Since joining Bogoroch & Associates LLP in November of 1999, Heidi has exclusively practiced personal injury litigation and has handled motor vehicle accident, medical malpractice, occupiers’ liability, long-term disability and product liability matters. She has presented at personal injury and related programs organized by the Advocates’ Society, Law Society of Ontario, Osgoode Hall and the Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association among others.
Heidi is recognized in Best Lawyers in the fields of medical negligence and personal injury litigation and is listed as a leading practitioner in the Canadian Legal Lexpert Directory. She recently concluded a 9 year term on the Board of The Ontario Trial Lawyers’ Association, having sat on its Executive Committee for several years. She is also a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Advocates’ Society and the Medico-Legal Society of Toronto. In addition to her legal pursuits, Heidi devotes her spare time to volunteering for non-profit charitable organizations in the community including children’s charities and athletics.
