With a focus on preparing students for college, careers, and community engagement, Mike is committed to fostering environments where all students can thrive and gain real-world skills through meaningful work-based learning (WBL) experiences.

A key proponent of technology for equity, Mike actively integrates tech resources and digital tools into CTE programming, ensuring students from all backgrounds have access to quality computing education and hands-on tech applications. Recognizing the barriers that some students face, Mike employed strategies like digital access, interactive project-based learning, and differentiated instruction to ensure every student has the support they need to succeed in a tech-driven world.

In addition to curriculum development, Mike is a dedicated professional learning presenter, working closely with the Maryland Center for Computing Education (MCCE) to provide educators with effective strategies for teaching computer science and integrating technology in their classrooms.
