Sydnee is a non-binary queer diabetic diagnosed in 2013 at 16. After spending time in the professional world, they realized how few disabled folks have a voice - especially when it comes to "invisible illnesses". This inspired them to learn and speak out on these issues, and how they intersect with being Black and Queer. Their interests lie in race, queer, and disability politics and advocacy. They spend their spare time reading and writing. Sydnee hopes to be able to continue to use their instagram and writing to continue to advocate as well as learn about these issues.
