Chase Orton is a math teacher, coach, facilitator, speaker, and consultant with over twenty years of experience working with students and teachers in classrooms. Passionate about building productive, inspiring, and engaging math classrooms, he has conducted over a hundred lesson studies with K-12 math teachers and continues to work to empower teachers in districts throughout California. Chase is a lead author of MathLinks, a comprehensive math curriculum for middle school students. Chase was born in Oregon, lived in England and Norway as a child, and spent his middle and high school years in New Hampshire. He’s an Appalachian Trail thru-hiker and has traveled to all 50 States. He has lived in Venice, CA since 2006.
