With a veterinary degree from the University of Pretoria in 2010, Karien embarked on a career at Valley Farm Animal Hospital where she honed her expertise in nutrition, behaviour and dermatology over nine years. Transitioning to the role of Hill’s Veterinary Key Account Manager in August 2022, she now focuses on advancing veterinary care. Outside of work, Karien enjoys spending time with her husband Robert, their children Megan and Jayden and six pets - three cats and three dogs.
