Bio
Samantha Holloway is the Programme Director for the Masters in Wound Healing and Tissue Repair and the Foundation in Wound Management modules (Leg Ulcers, Pressure Ulcers and Diabetic Foot Ulcers) at Cardiff University. Samantha also contributes to the Masters in Advanced Clinical Practice and Masters in Clinical Geriatrics also at Cardiff University. Samantha is a Fellow of the Academy of Higher Education.
Samantha is the Academic Editor for the Wounds UK journal and is on the Editorial Board of a number of journals including the Journal of Wound Management and British Journal of Community Nursing (Chronic Wound Care Supplement). Samantha held the position of the Chair of the Education Committee for the European Wound Management Association (EWMA) between 2019-2023 and continues to Chair the Teacher Network for EWMA. Samantha is the current President of the International Skin Tear Advisory Panel (ISTAP), having worked with the expert consensus group since 2011. Samantha has been a co-author on all ISTAPs Best Practice Recommendations between 2018-2021.
