Grace Feng, a student of Ms. Carol Chuang, is the winner of CAPMT State Honors Competition, Category B. Born in 2007, Grace is an 8th grader at Sutter Middle School in Folsom, California. In 2011, Grace started her piano study with Ms. Chuang and soon showed a strong passion for piano and a natural feeling for music.

Grace is the first place winner of numerous competitions including the United States Open Music Competition (Showcase Piano Solo), United States International Music Competition (Young Artist Award), Crescendo International Music Competition, Classical Masters Music Festival, MTAC Northern California Piano Solo and Concerto Competition, CAPMT Honors Competition State Final, CAPMT Concerto Competition State Final, CAPMT Contemporary Competition District 5, and New York Debut Young Musician Competition. She also won Grand Prize at the Auburn Symphony Young Artists Competition earlier this year, and has been invited to play with Auburn Symphony in 2021.

At age 8, Grace performed at Carnegie Hall and returned to play there in 2018. Grace had her orchestra debut at age 9 with the Folsom Lake College Youth Chamber Orchestra performing Mozart's Piano Concerto No. 9, K271. Last summer, she performed Mendelssohn's Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Florence Conservatory Orchestra in Italy. Grace has also been selected to perform in masterclasses with world renowned pianists such as Christopher Elton, Craig Sheppard, Antonio Pompa-Baldi, Sarah Chan, Marina Lomazov, Dimitry Rachmanoff, Ilana Vered, and many others. Aside from performing in piano recital halls, Grace plays regularly in Senior Homes. In addition to piano, Grace plays the viola and loves swimming and ballet.
