Bio
Ilaria Cianchetta is Head of Trust Innovation at Elsevier. She holds a Bsc in Physics from the University of Rome Sapienza and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Roma Tor Vergata. She started her career in publishing at Cell Press in 2016 as the scientific editor of Chem, handling physical and materials chemistry papers for the journal. In 2020 she was promoted to the inaugural Editor-in-Chief of Chem Catalysis where she worked for four years, elevating the journal among the leading titles in the field. Since 2024 she leads the Research Integrity and Trust innovation program of Elsevier.
