Sean Dardis has worked in the IT industry since 1995. Sean joined Dell in 2011 and is currently the Chief Technology Officer for the Dell Defence account portfolio, Security Clearance – NV2
Since joining Dell, Sean has worked within the cloud consulting group, infrastructure modernisation group and the workplace transformation team. Most recently Sean worked as the Client Services Director for the Commonwealth Government territory. Sean specialises in complex solution architecture, technology solutions and stakeholder relationships. He has attained international certification in Data Centre design and has lead teams on migration projects in several Australian Government departments. Sean also holds a position as the ‘Design Authority’ for a specialised Defence organisation.
Before joining Dell, Sean served as a Server Engineer for the Department of Defence (Army) demonstrating skill in both design and architectural capacities. During Sean’s time in uniform he deployed with the Army to build and maintain mission critical server and messaging infrastructure. Sean deployed in support of Defence operations on five occasions and in 2005 was awarded a Commendation for “displaying initiative in-line with the finest traditions of the Australian Defence Force”.
Sean’s past Defence projects are as diverse as his skillset, having completed major projects for Defence agencies large and small. He is a skilled and motivated professional who is confident, versatile and prepared to adapt to accomplish tasks.
