Ashwin Grover is the co-founder and Managing Director of Storal Learning - an expanding group of high-quality children’s day nurseries, currently operating 25 settings that are spread across 4 regions of England. He also serves as a Governor for a Primary school, linked to a Multi-Academy Trust, in West London.
Prior to founding Storal, Ash’s background was largely in general management for consumer-driven businesses. He spent 4 years with Amazon.com, split between the US and UK. His roles included project managing the launch of Amazon’s Beer, Wine and Spirits retail category on the UK website, just in time for the busy Christmas peak, and then subsequently managed the growth of the category. It was through his time at Amazon that Ash had the opportunity to observe up close how highly performing teams function and deliver for their customers – learnings he has carried with him into his own ventures.
Ash holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BSc Economics and Management from Bristol University. He lives in West London with his wife, a serial tech entrepreneur, and their two nursery-aged children. He’s a keen tennis fan and has recently taken up Padel during the pandemic.
