Simon Jupp is Director of Engineering in Elsevier’s Data Engineering group. He leads the development of CENtree, Elsevier’s enterprise ontology and terminology management platform, supporting organisations in the creation, management and application of shared knowledge models for FAIR data. Simon has more than 20 years’ experience helping organisations get value from data through semantic technology solutions and ontologies, particularly within the life sciences. His work focuses on addressing large-scale data interoperability challenges and enabling better integration, discovery and reuse of scientific information.
