Steve has more than a 20-year career in electrical metering, integration, and control systems. Prior to the acquisition by Caterpillar, Inc., Steve was Chief Technology Officer of Tangent Energy Solutions, Inc.
In his current role, Steve is responsible for all technology at Tangent Energy Solutions, including the design, development, and support of Tangent Energy’s flagship Distributed Energy Resource Management System (DERMS), Tangent AMP™. Steve is also responsible for Tangent’s Network Operations Center and Integration and Engineering teams.
Before Tangent Energy, Steve worked for Comverge (formerly Enerwise Global Technologies) for ten years. There he managed a 24×7 Network Operations Center and led a metering and controls integration team serving commercial and industrial customers. Primary responsibilities included administering large utility demand response programs and monitoring and dispatching assets.
Steve has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Delaware.
