Dr François TROMPIER is a physicist working in the field of external dosimetry at IRSN (France) since 1997. He was particularly active in the field of radiological accident dosimetry in research activities aiming to develop new approaches of accident dosimetry and in being involved in numerous expertise for various international and national organisations, with about 130 related scientific publications. He was one of the founders of the WG10 and is an active member of the WHO BioDoseNet and RENEB retrospective dosimetry networks, ISO WG18 and IABERD the international association of biodosimetry.
