Greetings from New York City! My name is Lynn, and I am looking forward to supporting you and your family through the college admissions process. I graduated cum laude from Barnard College, Columbia University in 2020 with my BA in Urban Studies and a concentration in Public Health. Currently, I’m a third-year doctoral student at Teachers College, Columbia University studying Health Education.
I am a first-generation, low-income student, who received the Gates Millennium Scholarship in 2016. As a result, I am eager to apply my college experiences and advising expertise to help you build your college lists, identify potential majors, review essays, and navigate financial aid. I have extensive experience advising students from different backgrounds and interests through all stages of the college admissions process to find the right fit for them. I recently just worked in admissions for Columbia’s pre-college programs. I also have experience working with a grass-roots NGO based in post-conflict Northern Uganda and studied abroad in Amman, Jordan to learn more about global health, refugees, and humanitarian aid. I was also selected as a Fulbright Scholar to teach English in Vietnam before pursuing my doctorate.
I am looking forward to connecting and learning more about you, your interests and goals, and how I can help support you through your college admissions journey!
