François is a 34-year-old maritime entrepreneur from Saint-Malo (France) who studied at the Sorbonne University in Paris and then at SOAS in London. To establish his natural connection with the sea, he left to develop his maritime experience at the OSPAR Commission, the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and the New York branch of UNITAR. Today, he is heavily involved in many key maritime topics such as offshore wind and sustainable yachting.
He is the Chief Exploration Officer (CEO) of Lanéva Boats, a Monegasque start-up which creates pleasure boats combining 100% electric and silent propulsion with noble and durable materials as well as digital navigation functions. The ambition is to develop and offer boats combining the fine balance between performance and eco-responsibility.
