Athalia Magaña is an Associate at Hoffman & Forde. Her practice areas include residential and commercial real estate disputes, purchase and sale transactions, landlord/tenant disputes, contracts, and general civil litigation.
Ms. Magaña received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Irvine in 2016. During her undergraduate career, Ms. Magaña worked as an International Trade Assistance at the Irvine Export Assistance Center of the U.S. Department of Commerce where she helped U.S. companies exports their product into new global markets.
Ms. Magaña earned her Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law. During law school, Ms. Magaña served as President of the La Raza Law Students Association and a member of Phi Alpha Delta. She was honored with several Dean’s List awards and received the highest grade in Trial Practice. Ms. Magaña also worked as a law clerk at the San Diego Office of the Public Defender- Felony Division where she gained valuable courtroom experience. She is licensed to practice law in California and is a member of the State Bar of California and the San Diego County Bar Association.
Ms. Magaña is fluent in Spanish. She enjoys dancing and teaching traditional folkloric Mexican dance—her childhood passion. Ms. Magaña spends most of her free time outdoors running, hiking, or at the beach.
