Procurement Manager: C4Africa Trading

Masego Mokgatla is a qualified Veterinary Technologist that graduated from Tshwane University of Technology in 2017. She did her 6-month internship at International Diagnostic Laboratory (IDL). Following the internship, she was employed at IDL as a Veterinary Technologist. In the first year of employment, Masego received training for ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and Principles of Method Validation. She was part of a 3-person team to validate the Serological scope at IDL and get SANAS accreditation for the laboratory. She was then appointed as Deputy Quality Manager and Technical Signatory. As a Deputy Quality Manager, her responsibilities were to ensure IDL’s Quality Management System was maintained, and improvements were made to it. As a Technical Signatory, she was responsible for ensuring validity of the results that she signed for. In her second year of appointment, Masego was employed to setup the third IDL satellite laboratory in Burkina Faso. Following the setup of IDL Burkina Faso, Masego was appointed as Head of Training. She then received training in the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 and assisted in the transitioning of IDL’s Quality Management System to the 2017 version of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard. In her role as Head of Training, she facilitated training of personnel at the various IDL satellite laboratories. The training comprised of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 standard, Method Validation of Serological Methods and IDL's Quality Management Systems. Masego was then briefly employed at AssureCloud as a Senior Veterinary Technologist and Quality Coordinator. During her time at AssureCloud, she received her training in Risk Analysis and Root Cause Analysis. Masego is now currently appointed at C4Africa Group as a Quality Manager, Head of Training and Technical Signatory for IDL and as a Procurement Manager for C4Africa Trading. Her current responsibilities include procuring laboratory consumables and providing training for personnel at the various IDL satellite laboratories, setting up IDL satellite laboratories throughout Africa and ensuring the Quality Management System is maintained at IDL South Africa.
