Bio
Guy Beaucarne received his Ph.D. in the field of solar cells technology at research center imec and the University of Leuven, Belgium, in 2000. In 2001, he was a post-doc at the University of New South Wales, Australia under the supervision of Professor Martin Green. In 2003, he returned to imec, where he headed the Solar Cell Technology group for six years. In 2009 he joined Dow Corning, now Dow Silicones in Seneffe, Belgium, where took various roles in Research & Development over the years. He is currently R&D Fellow, developing materials for use in the photovoltaic and construction industries.
