Jens Hansen

General Manager EMEA – Data & AI, Microsoft

Jens Hansen, General Manager EMEA - Data & AI, is
responsible for the growth of the Data and Artificial
Intelligence Azure Solution Business across Europe, the
Middle East and Africa. In that role, he is responsible for overall
go-to-market, strategic planning, shaping growth initiatives,
and supporting customers to achieve success with Microsoft
Data & AI solutions. Jens is passionate about the positive
impact that Advanced Analytics and Artificial Intelligence can
have on businesses and their digital transformation journeys
while being a strong advocate of the responsible use of
technology.
Jens rejoined Microsoft in 2020 after a four-year stint at
Salesforce, where he served as Vice President EMEA and was
responsible for the Analytics, AI and Productivity business of
Salesforce in the region. Jens also served as Member of the
German Leadership Team, Leader of the Innovation Hub in
Berlin and Member of the Cloud Sales Leadership Team EMEA.
Previously, he served as Worldwide Enterprise Sales Strategy
Leader for Microsoft’s Cloud + Enterprise business, based in
Redmond. Jens started his career in the early 2000s when he
co-founded Hansen Group AG and grew the company as CEO
to a leading consultancy in Germany, focused on Enterprise
Data Management and Business Intelligence.
Jens is married and lives with his wife and two daughters in
Potsdam, Germany. Whenever he is not spending time
traveling the continent, he is an avid tennis player and enjoys
every minute of quality time he gets to spend with his family.
