As the Senior Program Associate/ Professional Developer/ Metro Chicago Mathematics Initiative, Margie Pligge works with the team to nurture collaboration and improvement of mathematics teaching and learning within and across 32 Illinois school districts, she designs and develops professional learning opportunities to support the vision of Common Core State Standards for Mathematics, and works closely with individual districts to coach teachers. Margie currently works at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
