Edward Heath is the Chair of Robinson + Cole LLP’s Business Litigation Group and the Co-Chair of its Government Enforcement and Corporate Compliance Team.
For nearly 25 years, Ed has helped businesses across the globe resolve their disputes with governmental and private parties. He routinely advises health care organizations, laboratories, manufacturers, financial institutions, and other entities respond to civil and criminal investigations and enforcement activities, including with respect to federal and state fraud and abuse laws and False Claims Acts. He regularly represents clients before federal agencies such as United States Attorney’s Offices, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Health and Human Services Office of Inspector General, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services, as well as various state attorneys general and other administrative agencies.
As a result of this extensive experience, Ed is often called upon to conduct internal investigations for health care organizations and other businesses, and to provide guidance on matters of corporate compliance and litigation risk.
