Jean-Pierre (J-P) Clejan is a renewable energy integrator, specializing in sustainable, zero-energy buildings. With certifications from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP PV Installation Professional) and the International Ground Source Heat Pump Association (IGSHPA Geothermal Installer), he is well versed in the use of technology and ‘best-of-breed’ renewable energy systems. J-P delivers accredited programs to design professionals seeking his technological expertise to guide their clients towards sustainable construction projects with low operating costs and minimal carbon footprint.
He earned an Engineering and Applied Science degree from the California Institute of Technology (Caltech) and gained valuable hands-on experience from his many years of fieldwork. His engineering background includes fluency in solar electric systems, solar thermal systems, geothermal heating/cooling systems, wind turbines, energy storage, micro-grids and energy efficiency (audits, deep energy retrofits, advanced building controls).
Prior to joining GREENLOGIC, Mr. Clejan sold, designed and managed large government and private industry technology projects for Sandata Technologies. This followed an extensive career in IT, including developing key healthcare information products for Health Management Systems and helping to launch the original PC while working for the IBM Corporation.
Mr. Clejan is also a graduate of Phillips Academy in Andover, Mass. Fluent in French, he speaks five languages and enjoys sailing, skiing, rollerblading, table tennis, playing flamenco guitar, and helping his clients save money while protecting the environment. He resides in Hempstead, N.Y.
