Mark Barry is the CEO for The Arc Nature Coast, an agency that serves individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities in Pasco, Hernando and Sumter Counties. He has served in this capacity since 1992. Mark holds a bachelor's degree in Exceptional Education from St. Leo College, and has 41 years’ experience in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Mark has led acquisition/mergers at The Arc Nature Coast with three other organizations, resulting in a service area that now incorporates Pasco, Hernando and Sumter Counties. He received the Robert Ettinger Award for Executive Excellence from the Arc of Florida in 2003 and the Executive Excellence Award for 2007 from the National Conference of Arc Executives. Mark has served on the Pasco-Hernando Workforce Board since 1992, and currently serves as board treasurer.
Mark enjoys swimming, biking, running, hiking and spending time with family.
Mark and his wife, Laura reside in Spring Hill where they have raised five children and are now the proud grandparents of four grandsons and two granddaughters.
