Hi there! I'm Carolyn, a recent Stanford graduate who majored in Human Biology with a concentration in infectious diseases. I am passionate about promoting health equity and spent much of my time during college volunteering as a Spanish interpreter at a free clinic. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, exploring all sorts of cuisines, and spending time with friends (virtually in the meantime). During this upcoming school year, I will be applying to medical school. I became a Bullseye mentor because I want to provide high school students with the knowledge and guidance that I wish I had received when I was applying to college. Strong, genuine, and thoughtful essays are a key component in differentiating yourself from other applicants, thus increasing your chances of being admitted to your dream school. While writing essays (and pretty much the entire admissions process) is known to be intimidating and anxiety-inducing, it doesn't have to be. I hope to work with you to help you with your college application journey!
