Tara Del Gavio is a Member of the Firm in the Nonprofit & Social Services Practice where she has more than twenty years of experience. Throughout her career in this specialized area, Tara has managed audit teams and assisted with training her colleagues in all aspects of the nonprofit practice while also adding value as a key technical advisor to the firm’s nonprofit clients. It is this unique combination of leadership skills and technical knowledge that has distinguished Tara as a key influencer in the firm and in the nonprofit community over the years.
For over two decades as a CPA Tara has been actively engaged with various types of nonprofit organizations, ranging from social services to high education to foundations and trade associations. This diverse client base has broadened her scope and enabled her to provide nonprofit leaders with the critical benefits of a consultative approach. In addition, she draws on her depth of expertise in key areas that focus on organizations that address mental health, Housing and Urban Development (HUD), Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC), and Charitable Foundations.
