Arijit Chakraborty is Managing Director for Asia at Cover Genius, a leading global insurtech ranked by the Financial Times as #1 on their list of fastest-growing companies in APAC. Cover Genius protects millions of customers from the world’s largest online companies including Booking Holdings, Ola, Skyscanner, Shopee, eBay, ShipStation & more. In his role, Arijit is responsible for spearheading the insurtech’s insurance and commercial partnerships and leading the regional teams in Singapore, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Korea and Japan.
Prior to Cover Genius, Arijit held senior leadership roles with leading global insurers including Manulife and Zurich. He is actively involved in the start-up ecosystem and for the past few years has been advising and building the region's most well-known insurtech businesses. Arijit holds a Master of Laws from the National University of Singapore.
