Anethia Powell is Native to Atlanta, GA, where she lived and grew up in the city of Decatur. She graduated from Decatur High School with a 3.8 GPA and later attended Alabama A&M, then Clark Atlanta. She graduated from Shorter College in Rome, GA with a BS Degree in Business and later pursued her MBA with the University of Phoenix with a concentration in Global Management. Anethia worked as a Product Analyst for several years in the corporate sector, making millions of dollars for the company. She was later laid off in 2007 and decided to never allow someone else to decide her fate.
She started helping seniors with their Medicare and did very well financially. She soon discovered that most of the seniors she helped were from all backgrounds, industries and ethnicities and would retire in poverty. Anethia has helped countless individuals and businesses by introducing retirement income strategies and the cornerstones to building wealth. Her ability to connect with people and help them from where they are to where they want to be financially has been her most rewarding accolade.
She prides herself in helping the underserved and underprivileged members in her community about money and how to make it work for them. She has seen the term financial literacy defined in several ways; however, Anethia knows all too well that wealth is the key to ensuring economic and retirement income stability and it is what enables families to build a better future.
