Laura Atkins

Owner at Word to the Wise and Deliverability Consultant; Co-Founder of Women of Email

The name Laura Atkins is nearly synonymous with deliverability consulting and Word to the Wise. Something few people remember is that Laura’s start in the tech world had her establishing an abuse desk (with all of the associated policies, processes, and metrics) for a major network provider. That experience planted the seeds for what would become Abacus, the first commercial software product designed specifically for abuse and security desks. In the years since, much of Laura’s deliverability consulting has involved guiding her service provider clients to acknowledge the need for formalized compliance policies and processes. She’s helped numerous companies clean up their abuse problems and stop future ones from occurring.
