Elena Lopez-Gusman is the Executive Director of California ACEP. Elena has been with the organization since 2007 when she was hired as the Director of Government Relations. She brings 20 years of legislative, political and policy experience to her advocacy on behalf of emergency physicians and their patients. She spent 10 years working in the California Legislature. Elena earned her B.A. in Sociology and her J.D. from the University of California at Davis, and is a member in good standing of the California State Bar.
