I am a registered nurse with respiratory medicine and intensive care experience. Completing the national ICU course in 2018. In 2019 I embarked on my Epic journey and joined our Mycare team with the aim to go live with our Electronic Patient Record (EPR) in June 2020. I am a senior application analyst who works within the Clinical Documentation team. We are responsible for the build/redesign of inpatient nursing and AHP documentation. Working closely with SMEs, other applications and the senior management teams. I was also fortunate enough to be part of the Nightingale Exeter EPR design which was commended as the most digitally advanced Nightingale in the UK. I am passionate about improving patient care and also work life for my colleagues in an ever-growing pressurised NHS. I whole heartedly believed that an good EPR will facilitate both.
