Blu graduated from Harvard College in December 2020 with a degree in Social Anthropology and Art, Film, and Visual Studies. His love of learning has led him to explore a wide variety of subjects throughout his life, and he loves sharing this passion with his students. Blu has worked with students of all ages and has years of experience tutoring for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests, AP exams, and middle and high-school level subjects from Algebra and Spanish to AP Literature and AP U.S. History. Blu's track record not only includes a 2360 SAT score and 5's on 8 Advanced Placement Exams, but also a history of helping students achieve drastic improvements on their own standardized tests and in their regular coursework. Additionally, Blu has experience with college admissions counseling, in particular guiding students through the essay-writing process. He was accepted to a number of top schools including Harvard, Columbia, Brown, UPenn, Dartmouth, Cornell, Northwestern, and UC Berkeley, and can offer guidance to help you get accepted to the school of your choice. Some of Blu's personal interests include watching and making films, listening to and writing music, hiking, backpacking, designing/building spaces, reading, theater, art, photography, yoga & meditation, philosophy, psychology, stand-up comedy, cooking, and dancing.
