Owner, Marl Creek Renewables & Co-Owner, Cornerstone Renewables

Carl is a beef feedlot operator and owns and operates an on-farm anaerobic digester called Marl Creek Renewables in the Municipality of Brockton. The on-farm digester is for thermal treatment of manure and food and animal waste for the production of biogas. Carl is also part owner of Cornerstone Renewables, an organic waste diversion company that redirects animal and food processing waste and source separated organics from households to anaerobic digesters throughout the province. Frook Farms markets approximately 4500 cattle per year under the Ontario Corn Fed Beef Program in association with the CRSB (Canadian Round Table for Sustainable Beef). Carl believes sustainability is about doing it better for future generations.
