Engineer diploma since 2001 (environmental technology, Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University). Since 2002: work at the former Karlsruhe Research Center (now Karlsruhe Intitute of Technology, KIT) on the field of radiation protection and decomissioning. Since 2010: head of department “Dosimetry laboratories” at KIT which includes a radon laboratory, a secondary standard irradiation laboratory and a solid state dosimetry laboratory. Since 2015: member of EURADOS WG3 SG2.
