Daniel Klancnik

Director of Project Solutions

Dan has 20 years of experience in construction and architecture, with a focus on building information modeling (BIM) and virtual design and construction (VDC). As director of project solutions at Leopardo, he plays a leading role in strengthening the integration of construction technology into the company’s culture. He also uses technology and process to empower construction teams to continually innovate and improve. Dan is a regular industry speaker on virtual construction for groups like Autodesk, Associated General Contractors of America, as well McGraw Hill. Additionally, he was named among ENR Midwest’s Top 20 Under 40 class of 2016, which acknowledges industry leadership and expertise. He authored AGC’s Guide to BIM (second edition) and is a member of several industry groups focused on BIM and VDC, including AGC’s construction management and BIM education courses and credential authoring, as well as the United States Army Corps of Engineers BIM contract language advisory group, among others.
