Col. Matt Beverly, USAF., is an accomplished career civil engineer, leader, and change agent with over 24 years of experience leading large, diverse organizations worldwide. After graduating from the United States Air Force Academy, he began as an Air Force pavements engineer. He has since expanded into project and program management executing initial base planning and construction, base expansion, and sustainment across the United States, Middle East, Africa, and the Pacific. Most recently he commanded the 1st Expeditionary Civil Engineer Group directing heavy construction and maintenance across nine Middle Eastern countries and then helped Pacific Air Forces stand up the 356th Expeditionary Civil Engineer Group.
He is a prior Assistant Professor at the U.S. Army War College where he taught military strategy and campaign plan development, and created classes and courses on space, cyberspace, and electromagnetic spectrum operations. Additionally, he has commanded at the squadron level four times and served on Major Command, Combatant Command, and Secretary of the Air Force’s staffs.
