Christophe Ballif is the director of the PV-Lab at EPFL in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He is also director of the CSEM Sustainable Energy Center, which focuses on industrialization and technology transfer in solar energy applications, including energy management and storage. He has been awarded the 2016 Becquerel Prize and the 2024 Global Solar Scientists Award for his academic contributions to the solar technology industry, particularly in cell efficiency.
