Anne Rodman

Independent Respiratory Nurse Consultant, Rotherham Respiratory

Anne Rodman has been training people to improve care for respiratory disease for over 15 years. Anne has an MSc in Acute and Emergency care and a Postgraduate Diploma in Respiratory Care, working in primary care since 1995. Anne is the COPD education lead at Rotherham Respiratory, developing and delivering accredited online learning modules. She also supports primary care practices with training needs and running specialist clinics, and is involved in both COPD (TANDEM COPD) and asthma (Imp2ART) national research projects as a facilitator. Anne is on the National Register of spirometry practitioners and a past member of the ARTP spirometry committee, and past co-chair of the PCRS-UK Conference organising committee. Anne is passionate about the role of education in improving care, to ensure correct early diagnosis that enables patients to make informed choices and maintain a good quality of life for them and their families. She believes all patients should receive good quality care provided by a properly trained health care professional.
