President of RENATE Network, Religious in Europe Networking Against Trafficking and Exploitation

Sr Imelda Poole, a native of Great Britain, is a sister of the Institute of the Blessed Virgin Mary (IBVM) on mission in Albania for 16 years. Sr Imelda is the President of the NGO called Mary Ward Loreto (MWL www.albaniahope.com)) which addresses the root causes of trafficking and also the rescue and rehabilitation of victims of trafficking in Albania. Sister Imelda currently serves as the President of Religious in Europe Networking Against Trafficking and Exploitation (RENATE). Imelda Poole has cofounded a new NGO called Mary Ward Loreto UK now registered under the Charities Commission in the UK.
