Charlene Downey, Captain, U.S. Coast Guard (retired) is the owner of SeeWorthy Coaching & Consulting LLC where she provides leadership coaching and consulting to executives and C-suite teams. She also provides consulting expertise in the areas of maritime security, safety, emergency management and environmental response. Charlene served over 26 years on active duty and completed her highly successful Coast Guard career serving as the Sector Commander and Captain of the Port of Los Angeles – Long Beach; the nation’s largest and most economically vital container port complex. She graduated from the Coast Guard Academy, New London, CT with a B.S. in Management and received her M.S. in Management (HRM) from Florida Institute of Technology. She is also a graduate of the Institute of Professional Excellence in Coaching where she received her Certified Professional Coach (CPC) designation and Energy Leadership Index™ Master Practitioner certification.
