Bio
Khushal graduated from the University of New South Wales with an honours in Chemical Engineering. He started his professional career with Deloitte, and had the pleasure of working in both Strategy and Risk Consulting, prior to transfering into Deloitte’s newest business offerings, Energy and Climate Advisory. This team, he believes, in many ways is his ‘true calling’ as he has been provided with the ideal eco-system to drive impact. Khushal's current role is a fusion between clean technology due-diligence, techno-economic modelling, and business case development. The ability to wear these ‘hats’ and advise Australia’s largest public and private sector organisations on how they can decarbonise, he says is incredible.
In the last 6 months, he has assisted public sector clients in developing business cases for P2X technologies, built hydrogen value chain models for the development of an export economy and developed a strategy to transition a state government’s bus fleet into battery electric.
Khushal also co-founded switcH2, to tackle deep decarbonisation problems, such as transitioning breweries into a circular economy, by converting their wastewater into hydrogen.
