Bio
Tom Grimbergen studied Physics at the University Utrecht. Throughout his career he has been interested in the measurement of ionizing radiation: first at the national measurement standards institute in the Netherlands (VSL), later as a radiation protection officer at a university/university hospital in Amsterdam, operating a local dosimetry service, and most recently at the largest dosimetry service in the Netherlands (NRG, since 2018 part of Mirion Technologies, Dosimetry Services Division).
Tom is member and task leader of the Organizing Group for EURADOS Intercomparisons since 2008 and coordinated the first two intercomparisons in the self-sustained program of personal dosemeter intercomparions (IC2008, IC2009ext).
