Tyler Michie started with Platte River as an intern in 2006 while pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Colorado State University. Tyler spent 13 years as a Plant Engineer supporting O&M activities and managing a range of projects on the coal and natural gas generators at Rawhide Energy Station. Tyler has been Plant Operations Manager for 4 years and loves the team environment (and challenges), that comes from a 24 hour department on rotating shifts.
