Ken Hall is the Vice President at DeepWork Capital, an Orlando-based venture capital firm investing in and supporting early-stage technology and life sciences companies. Prior to DeepWork, Ken worked for IBM in New York City, where he held numerous roles for IBM in Corporate Development and Corporate Venture Capital supporting business units such as IBM Watson, Hybrid Cloud, Blockchain, and Watson Health. As a former advisor to venture firms like 1843 Capital as well as various family offices including The Carlyle Group and Motorola, he has supported 20+ venture investments in areas including autonomous vehicles, digital health, fintech, blockchain, and artificial intelligence. In addition to his role at DeepWork, Ken is a mentor at Newchip, a global accelerator based out of Austin, TX, and is the Chairman of Startups for the Orlando Tech Council, where he helps support the innovation ecosystem and startup community in Central Florida on behalf of the Orlando Economic Partnership. Ken completed his MBA at Boston University Questrom School of Business and completed his undergraduate studies at the University of New Haven, where he was recognized as the top student in the College of Business.
